Meet Mia
I have always enjoyed "playing" in makeup. After having friends request little ole me to do makeup and seeing how happy they became after using my self-taught "techniques", I realized I rather enjoyed the feeling that came from their happiness. So much so that I decided to invest in myself and learn the proper techniques. After completing courses and apprenticing with Playing In Paint, LLC, Beautifully You. by Mia was born and I launched my journey as a freelance makeup artist - striving to enhance your natural beauty.
I have been privileged and blessed to interact with talented photographers and makeup artists, worked with amazing clients, and given wonderful opportunities. I have worked as a contributing artists for the 2018 DC Swim Week, the New York Summer Fashion Explosion and have clients featured on websites and in printed and e-magazines to include Chris A. Benjamin, iDymes Magazine, and BlackNuptials.com.
